Welcome to YouthConsult

The purpose of this site is to provide an opportunity for young people to use their thinking in a constructive manner on a variety of issues. The site is under construction and will be completed in the near future so continue to visit the site. It is my intention to create a gigantic think-tank of young people. The thinking can be focused on social issues and also on commercial issues. The commercial issues will be on a fee basis and effective contributors will be rewarded for their input. Full details of the way the site will operate will be given in due course. Individuals may contribute directly or may put together a team with a team output. Each individual or team should choose a unique code indicator. This should be a word followed by any five figure number. Please make this site known to schools and youth groups who may wish to use their thinking for a defined purpose. Mini-think tanks or individual thinkers may be registered. There is no registration fee. As a starter here is a social project that needs a lot of thinking.

Mini Think Tank Programme This will provide all the relevant information on the range of programmes offered and provide an interactive element to the dissemination of the information. Youthconsult Bulletin Boards This section will include the relevant bulletin boards for Y.E. (Young Enterprise) clubs members. Some of these bulletin boards (those for Y.E. members) will be operated as Intranets with access restricted to registered users of different categories, Y.E. members etc. Extranet facilities will also be set up to allow Y.E. clubs to publish directly their own content material which may then be viewed by the public or by the Intranet groups.		Discussion Groups This section will comprise a range of discussion groups which will encourage on-line chatting on matters related to the various youthconsult themes and issues.

You are asked to invent five new words. Each word will describe a complex situation. The purpose of the words will be to allow people to get on with each other more peacefully and more constructively.

The actual letters making up the word are not so important as the meaning (in fact I use numbers in my codes).

For example we may want to indicate the following situation:
"We are going to need to work together constructively, whether we like each other or not. So let's see how we can move forward."

All that can be encapsulated in one word - which could be "confore."

A prize of $5,000 will be divided between the best entries - or given as one prize if merited.
