2. Why is Dr. De Bono listed as one of the 250 persons who made the most significant contribution to humanity?

De Bono's special contribution has been to take the mystical subject of creativity and for the first time in history, to put the subject on a solid basis. While his methods are based on a fundamental understanding of how the brain handles information, de Bono's "powerfully simple" thinking techniques can help you make good decisions, solve problems, challenge assumptions and produce practical improvement in your occupation and in life.

3. What is Dr. De Bono's Objective?

Simply - Change, ideas and improvement.

Dr. de Bono's work is based on the understanding of the mind as a self-organising system. He focuses on correcting and addressing areas of perception. In the CoRT and DATTTM programmes, he outlines simple and practical tools giving people from all walks of life and all ages a common perceptual language and a framework for effective thinking.

Since the mind is designed to be "brilliantly uncreative," Edward de Bono demonstrates that everybody can learn to become creative. Lateral Thinking sets out simple strategies that become second nature with little practice.
