Conference Brochure:
page 1/2/3/4
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
in Malta is pleased to organize this second International Conference
on New Thinking for the new Millennium in conjunction with The
Edward de Bono foundation (Malta) to further develop the initiatives
it launched at the start of the New Millennium.

'New
Thinking', incorporating
'Lateral Thinking' and 'Parallel Thinking' has been establishing
itself very rapidly as a vital tool in all spheres of activity.
This development is expected to reach a higher level of importance
in the New Millennium.
Dr. Edward de Bono's home country is Malta, and he is
widely recognised as the leading authority in the world in the
field of creative and conceptual thinking.
In view of this, the Ministry is organizing
this second conference jointly with Dr. de Bono and his foundation
and considers it appropriate to underline the importance it gives
to his work and to new thinking for the New Millennium.
'This year's conference gave the
opportunity for personal, informal contact with Dr. de Bono… I
found the workshops very inspiring.' (MARCH,
2000)
Dr. Erio Ziglio,
WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION,
EUROPEAN REGIONA OFFICE,
DENMARK
'From all points of view, your conference was enriching
and helped us all to reassess our own unused potential in trying
to promote change, reform and just simply dialogue. The organization
of the Conference was excellent and you all should be commended
for it.' (MARCH, 2000)
Asghar Husain,
DIVISION FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION
& DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION SYSTEMS,
UNESCO, FRANCE
'My warm thanks to Dr. Edward de Bono for an exhilarating
4 days in Malta, they were of great utility and have shown a
new aspect of what is possible with a correct approach to design
thinking in the right way.' (MARCH,
2000)
